Electric vehicles.working mechanism of different from the IC engine,below explore of EVs component.Electric vehicles increasing becoming a part of modern life,tremendous fuel economy,Eco-friendly & smooth driving to modern consumers. EVs are totally different of traditional vehicle with IC Engines.

As is well known,EVs is use the electricity save in the battery to cycle the motor & generate the power necessary driving. EVs has no need of engine& transmission,the two of the mos's
crucial components for IC engines. Instead,EVs carry the several components for electric power: the motor,the battery,the on board charger & the electric power control unit(EPCU).These are essential components to achieve the conversion battery's electricity into the kinetic force that drive the EV forward.

The battery stores electrical energy & is the equivalent of a fuel tank in an integral combustion engine,The maximum driving distance of an EV is often determined by the better battery capacity,the higher the battery capacity,the higher the driving distance,The best way to optimize performance, maximize the battery’s energy density―that is, having a small, lightweight battery that stores as much electric energy as possible.
Thanks to recent advancements in battery technology
for example: equipped with a 64kWh lithium -ion battery,max distance covered of 386km according of Korean Certification Standards,to explain in details,understand first that lithium-ion battery on EVs show battery life that varies that charging pattern,if the charging pattern is such that the entire battery is exhausted & recharged to full,the battery can be used for 1,000 charges(100% charges),if the battery is used as 50% then 5000 charges(50% battery recharges) etc.
Battery Management System
manages the battery's many cells so that they can operate as if they are a single entity,the BMS is built into the battery's body.The BMS only oversees the cell's charge/discharge status,when its see MIL cell,it automatically adjust the power status of the cell(on/off),through a relay mechanism

The OBC is used AC from slow charges or portable chargers used on home outlets into DC,if charges by traditional inverter,they differ crucially in function,or inverters acceleration/deceleration

The inverter converts the battery's DC into AC,used to control the motor speed.etc
Low voltage DC-DC Converter
The LDC converts the high voltage electricity from the EV's high-voltage battery into low-voltage(12 V) & supplies it to the vehicle's various electronic system.
All electronic system in the EV use in low voltage.(main function of battery are high voltage in the battery must be converted into low voltage first for useful these systems)
Vehicle Control Unit
All electric power system in the EV's are main component VCU.
obvious,VCU is most component of the EPCU.
It oversees nearly all the vehicle's power control mechanism,including the motor control,regenerative the braking system,A/C load management, & power supply for the electronic systems
